No efficacy claims
We make no statements about the health effects of individual products. Dietary supplements are foods, not medicines, and do not replace a balanced diet. Health claims are only permitted where they are authorised under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. We assess nothing but content, compound form, amount, price per portion and the transparency of the declared data.
Where the product data comes from
Information on nutrients, amounts and compound forms comes from labels, manufacturer specifications and shop data feeds. We do not verify it in a laboratory. We check plausibility and convert to the elemental nutrient, but we cannot confirm what a product actually contains. In case of discrepancies, the information on the current product packaging prevails.
Prices, timestamps and availability
All prices are gross prices in euro and are shown together with the time of the last update. Between that update and your visit, the price, shipping costs and availability may have changed. Only the price in the shop at the time of purchase applies.
Completeness and accuracy
We prepare the comparisons carefully but give no warranty as to accuracy, completeness or timeliness. The comparison does not cover the entire market, only products from the shops we work with. We welcome reports of errors and correct them promptly.
Your own responsibility
Taking dietary supplements is your own responsibility. Recommended maximum amounts can be exceeded when several products are combined, and interactions with medication are possible.
