1. Subject matter

PortionCheck presents information on dietary supplements in a way that makes nutrient content, amount and price per portion comparable. The service is an editorial information service and free to use.

2. No contract is concluded via PortionCheck

We do not sell products. A purchase contract is concluded exclusively between you and the respective shop. Ordering, delivery, payment, withdrawal and warranty are governed by that shop's terms.

3. Prices and availability

Prices, availability and product details come from data feeds provided by shops and networks and are shown with a timestamp. They may already be out of date when you view them. The price in the shop at the time of purchase is always the one that applies.

4. Permitted use

You may use the service for your own, non-commercial information purposes. The following are not permitted:

• automated bulk requests, scraping, or extracting the database in part or in whole
• any action that impairs the availability or security of the service
• reusing comparison data in your own offerings without our written consent

5. Rights in the content

The way the data is prepared, the normalisation logic and the editorial texts are protected by copyright and database rights. Trade marks, product names and images remain the property of their respective rights holders.

6. Availability

There is no entitlement to continuous availability. We may change, restrict or discontinue features where this is reasonable for you.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of a material obligation and only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Beyond that, the notes in the disclaimer apply.

8. Applicable law and changes

German law applies; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. We may amend these terms with effect for the future. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
